Recently Ellie & James from the BCT Music group had the brilliant opportunity to visit BBC Tees to be interviewed by Neil Green about the upcoming performances at Eldon Square for the Elf Run event.
Longstanding members of the group Ellie & James were selected by their tutors to represent the group as a thank you for all their hard work and for supporting other members of the group.
The group will be performing at the forthcoming Elf Run at Eldon Square in Newcastle, which is a great opportunity and the interview was a great chance to talk about it.
The guys were joined by Paul in the studio alongside presenter Neil Green who had this to say about the interview from the guys ” What a delight to meet some of the students working with and supporting BCT Aspire. I’ve interviewed Paul on many occasions on 95fm BBC Tees and to see and hear the confidence the students have is truly amazing. Well done all !”
Amanda Logan , Mother of James said” Since joining BCT over a year ago, James’s confidence and talent has grown more than I could have imagined. Seeing his face when telling him he’d been invited to an interview on the radio was priceless! Listening to him and Ellie telling the North East about their passion for music and looking forward to entertaining filled me with pride. As the interview started I could feel their nerves but by the end they were naturals. Another amazing opportunity given to them by the brilliance of BCT Aspire. James can’t wait for more air time and is looking forward to the future.
