Come see BCT Aspire’s ‘Guitarmageddon’ kids performing live on stage!!
Our beginners group will be performing About a girl by Nirvana. This group has come such a long way; some were absolute beginners and to perform this song live will be a fantastic achievement!
Jason, the beginner’s tutor said “It’s really good to see the kids coming on like this, my favourite moment so far has been one of the group getting the confidence to sing as well as play guitar, we can’t wait for her to perform on stage!”
The intermediate group will be playing tracks by artists such as Foo Fighters, Biffy Clyro, Muse, The Kinks, Black Sabbath, Metallica, Arctic monkeys, Thin Lizzy, Cream and Nirvana.
The intermediate tutor Dave Rutherford says BCT Aspire’s Guitarmageddon is “Brilliant! It’s a place where people can experience music in a fun and relaxed atmosphere” and” watching the kids perform on stage, getting excited about music, seeing how much their confidence grows are the best things.”
To finish of the show the students will be joined by the Instructors own Led Zeppelin tribute band ‘Black Dog’ who’ll be playing a selection of Led Zeppelin’s greatest hits.
This promises to be a fun night for all involved and I’m sure were all going to be very proud of the achievements of our students from ages 8 to 16 years
Entry will be £4 for adults and £2.50 for people under 16 and the proceeds will go into funding the continuation of the course.
Guitar classes are held at BCT Aspire every Saturday morning, Beginners are 10 to 11:30 am and intermediate classes from 11:30 to 13:00.
