BCT Apprenticeship Scheme

Kayleigh Payne and Robert BarnesWorking in partnership with Middlesbrough College – BCT Aspire have recently employed two Chef Apprentices – Kayleigh and Robert.

They are both proving a great asset to the BCT Catering team and they have been getting great feedback from staff at Teesvalley Community Foundation when they delivered their first outside catering corporate buffet.

Sarah Hodgson – Volunteer Liaison Coordinator

Both Kayleigh and Robert attend Middlesbrough College one day a week with further on site training from our chef’s, catering team and other BCT staff.

They have also taken on their own catering project at Billlingham Cricket Club. Turning out every Sunday morning, they cater for Billingham Rangers FC team members and supporters offering hot drinks and bacon butties!

Taking on this catering role and offering a service to the football club, BCT has once again strengthened links with a Billingham based sports organisation who are working hard to deliver positive activities for the children and young people of Billingham.
