We are pleased to inform you that BCT Aspire will be once again participating in SIRF on 3rd August between 10am and 1pm.
SIRF community carnival is a colourful highlight of Stockton International Riverside Festival with this year’s festival being held between Thursday 1st to Sunday 4th August.
The carnival procession passes through the High Street leading to the Riverside where you can enjoy the carnival atmosphere, participate in free arts and circus workshops, enjoy a bite to eat with family or simply strut your stuff along to Club Groovy, Hyde Park Brass and Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra.
This year’s theme is Tales of the Tees Valley, celebrating all things great from our area.
To support the SIRF event, we have Artist & Designer Shirley Wells attending sessions listed below to help prepare costumes for the carnival:
• Thursday 4th July 6-8pm (Making costumes)
• Thursday 11th July 6-8pm (Making Costumes)
• Thursday 18th July 6-8pm (Making Costumes)
Children are NOT required to attend all of the above sessions in order to participate in the SIRF Carnival.
