Vote for BCT in the Lloyds TSB Community Fund Finals!

Guitar Club

This year BCT Aspire have been shortlisted for the Lloyds Community Fund finals, with the chance to win £3,000!  The Lloyds TSB community fund aims to support charities in delivering and improving their work within the community.

BCT Aspire CIC currently runs a local Youth Programme which actively engages children and young people in activities such as Sport, Arts & Crafts and Music Tuition. This provides a safe place for them to play, socialize and learn/perform music whilst learning key life values including honesty, hard work, commitment, humility, working together and supporting others.

The award would allow us to work with more children in the area and improve our service. Below are some parents’ thoughts on how the Youth Programme has benefited their children.

My son has been attending BCT Aspire for a while now and as well as making some great friends and peers his confidence with others and performing has grown no end , he has learnt a lot of new skills and I feel safe in the knowledge he is somewhere with like minded people having fun

My three children haven been attending BCT Aspire Youth Club for three months now and despite this short time it has individually had a great impact on all of them. My oldest daughter (11 years old) is a very shy girl and struggles to make friends, however since she has been attending these sessions her confidence has grew so much that she has even been sharing her arts & craft ideas and putting them into practice alongside the youth workers and other children. She looks forward to coming every week, knowing she is valued as an individual; the staff are encouraging, supportive and help children to discover their strengths. Thank you BCT Aspire
