We\u2019re recruiting for our 2025 Duke Of Edinburgh<\/strong> Bronze (DofE) & Silver Awards.<\/p>\n

After a fantastic restart to our Duke of Edinburgh Award programme which sees this year’s group well on their way to achieving their Bronze Award<\/strong>, we are now looking to recruit for our 2025 programme. <\/p>\n

The Duke Of Edinburgh offers is a chance to discover new interests, have fun, get fit, gain skills and achieve an award that will help you stand out in job, college and university applications. <\/p>\n

What is the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme?<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022 The scheme is a globally recognized qualification for young people & adults between the ages of 14 to 24.
\n\u2022 The scheme is accepted alongside formal qualifications by higher education providers & employers.
\n\u2022 An opportunity to experience new activities and develop existing skills.
\n\u2022 Principles \u2013 Shared experiences in outdoors developing leadership, problem solving. Overcoming challenges to build emotional strength & empathy for others. Experiencing isolation & solitude develops self-reliance & self-confidence.
\n\u2022 Divided into 4 sections that all must be completed (Physical, Skill, Volunteering & Expedition)
\n\u2022 Sections can work around existing activities (Current Hobbies & Interests).<\/p>\n
