{"id":3728,"date":"2019-01-20T18:35:32","date_gmt":"2019-01-20T18:35:32","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/?p=3728"},"modified":"2019-01-23T18:04:23","modified_gmt":"2019-01-23T18:04:23","slug":"bct-fundraising-idea-give-us-your-foreign-coins","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/?p=3728","title":{"rendered":"BCT Foreign Coins Fundraiser"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong><span style=\"font-size: 18pt;\">Can we have your Foreign Coins &amp; Notes please?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">As part of a number of ongoing projects, tied in with our link up with <a href=\"https:\/\/180dc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">180 Degree Consulting<\/a> (Durham University), we are collecting foreign coins.\u00a0 We know if you look in the back of drawers, wallets or purses &#8211; you might find some foreign coins left over from a trip.<\/p>\n<p>Banks and the Post Office won&#8217;t accept these coins. <strong>So we would like them please?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3730\" src=\"https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/BCTCurrency-1024x347.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"254\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/BCTCurrency-1024x347.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/BCTCurrency-300x102.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/BCTCurrency-768x260.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/01\/BCTCurrency.jpg 1180w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>As a registered charity we can convert these coins into to monies that can be used to fund future BCT activities.<\/p>\n<p>We think this might be a great way to fund raise and at the same time let the BCT Kids look at and see what currency looks like from around the World.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve put a <strong>Foreign Currency<\/strong> jar at the BCT Den &#8211; so we are asking volunteers, parents and BCT kids to collect as much as you can from family and friends, and see how much we can raise.<\/p>\n<p>And it won&#8217;t cost you a Penny &#8211; maybe a few Cents, the odd Euro or a spare Yen or two &#8230; having said that we are happy to accept any amount of coins or even notes &#8211; it will all add up!<\/p>\n<p>Many thanks on behalf of<br \/>\nBCT Aspire CIC<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Can we have your Foreign Coins &amp; Notes please?
