\"Dodgy<\/a>Last Friday BCT Aspire were kindly given some reduced rate tickets by the ARC<\/a> in Stockton to see Dodgy<\/a>, who in turn kindly\u00a0gave up their time to meet up with BCT and the BCT Kids afterwards.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Dodgy are an English power pop rock trio that rose to prominence during the Britpop era of the 1990s. They are best known for their hits “Staying Out for the Summer”, “If You’re Thinking of Me” and “Good Enough”. Luckily for Britpop lovers everywhere, Dodgy reformed and released a new album called \u201cStand Upright in a Cool Place\u201d on 20th February 2012, which the Guardian deemed \u201ca musical reunion worth celebrating\u201d.<\/p>\n

So, of course BCT were excited when they were offered gig tickets and even more excited that the BCT Kids were given a chance to be involved with the band first hand because Dodgy have asked BCT Kids to make and star in the video for their next new single \u201cWagon Wheel\u201d which is a massive opportunity to say the very least!!<\/p>\n

Dodgy described BCT Aspire\u2019s Manager Paul Burgum as \u201cone hell of an inspirational guy\u201d and were even more impressed by his upcoming Big Walk from Monte Carlo all the way back to Stockton with nothing but the bag on his back to raise awareness for homeless people \u201cBlimey\u201d!<\/p>\n

So I think huge congratulations are in order for the BCT Kids who were offered this amazing opportunity and a great big good luck to them to create a music video that they and everyone in Billingham can be proud of!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
