{"id":1472,"date":"2012-07-28T12:38:38","date_gmt":"2012-07-28T11:38:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/?p=1472"},"modified":"2012-08-09T10:48:53","modified_gmt":"2012-08-09T09:48:53","slug":"cricket-club-fundraising-event","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bctaspire.org.uk\/?p=1472","title":{"rendered":"Billingham Synthonia Cricket Club Fundraiser &#8211; 11 August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On the 11th August Billingham Cricket Club, in partnership with BCT Aspire, are hosting a fantastic fund raising event full of great entertainment from 7:00pm.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The event will follow the club\u2019s first team premier league game which will be\u00a0well worth watching.<\/p>\n<p>The club is a great place to be for all the family whether you enjoy cricket or just want to be<br \/>somewhere safe with a great atmosphere.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BCT Aspire\u2019s Paul Burgum said \u201c<em>I have been lucky enough to play for the club over the year\u2019s<\/em><br \/><em>and, like all of our local clubs, see the great work the club does in supporting not just cricketers<\/em><br \/><em>but local people in general, especially children. We are simply hoping to help the club generate<\/em><br \/><em>a bit more income as they are having a hard time at the minute, which has been made worse by<\/em><br \/><em>the bad weather<\/em>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The evening will be full of great live acts including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Phil Wing &#8211; A fantastic acoustic solo act.<\/li>\n<li>BCT Kids &#8211; Kids from BCT Aspires very own music programme performing a number of great rock song covers.<\/li>\n<li>Simon Driver \u2013 Stalwart of the club and a great musician in his own right.<\/li>\n<li>Anthony Chisman &#8211; Once an X-Factor audtionee, he will be performing an excellent acoustic set.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Friends old and new are very welcome for what will be a great night for people of all ages.
