\"John<\/a>Billingham Town Council in partnership with BCT Aspire CIC are delighted to\u00a0announce the re-opening of the Cafe at John Whitehead Park for the Summer\u00a0Break on Wednesday, 25th July at 5.30 pm.<\/p>\n

Thanks to Stockton Borough Council who has given Billingham Town Council this\u00a0fantastic opportunity to work with BCT Aspire CIC to bring the Caf\u00e9 \u201cback to life\u201d.<\/p>\n

It has been an aspiration of not only the Town Council & BCT Aspire but that of\u00a0many many residents in Billingham that the Caf\u00e9 re-opens and provides a great\u00a0place to be for people of all ages, particularly during the summer months.<\/p>\n

Executive Officer Dianne Rickaby said\u201d We are absolutely delighted to be able to get\u00a0this facility back up and running.<\/p>\n

Since its closure in 2010, the Town Council has been looking at ways of being able\u00a0to bring the cafe \u2018back to life\u2019, we\u2019re excited that we have been given the opportunity\u00a0to provide a much needed facility for the residents of Billingham. We look forward to\u00a0working with BCT Aspire in offering both a cafe and hub for our community, bringing\u00a0activities for youngsters with lots of fun times over the summer break\u201d.<\/p>\n

Not only will the cafe be open for refreshments! BCT Aspire will be running FREE\u00a0activities for youngsters of our town throughout the holidays. This will include musical\u00a0performances, lessons, sports & arts crafts plus much more. The programme will rely\u00a0heavily on local volunteers who all share the same aim.<\/p>\n

BCT Aspire Managing Director Paul Burgum said \u201dWe all know that is in incredibly\u00a0tough time at the moment and especially for young people & children.
