David Crockett (My Uncle) ~ by Paul Burgum

David Crockett was my Uncle and due to circumstances we lost touch a few years before his death. This was mainly due to his problems with drinking that meant we had many bad times.

I will be updating this page with thoughts from my Mam Helen, of her only brother who I know thought the world of him.

David was a talented man who was a great sportsman and academic through the early part of his life. Drink then began to take over and it was a gradual slide over thirty years to the most horrendous of deaths.
