Support BCT through Localgiving.com

Donate to local charities at Localgiving.com

We are proud to announce that we will soon be registered with the fantastic new site www.localgiving.com.

This site is aimed at giving small community organisations such as BCT Aspire the opportunity to raise funds through donations. There is even the added incentive of a price match scheme from the government in March.

BCT Aspire is a social enterprise and as such works extremely hard to raise it’s own finances through hard work and sales. These is primarily through our catering and events work, with the rest made up of grants and funding.

BCT Aspire like many small organisations is finding it increasingly difficult to continue to run all of the activities it does with additional support. We are hoping that local people will choose to donate to BCT Aspire and directly support it’s work in the community through its numerous activites such as:

  • Affordable Music Lessons
  • Drop in space for young people
  • Youth Club (Coming Soon)
  • BCT Fun Day
  • Community Projects (Example: Cole Lancaster Extension Project)
  • Aspirational Programmes & Workshops
  • Community Events & taster Sessions
  • Phoenix Aspirational Programme
  • Volunteering & Apprenticeship programmes

Managing Director Paul Burgum said ” It has been a very long tough couple of years since taking the decision to setup BCT formally. We have overcame many obstacles and learned at every step. We work exceptionally hard to raise our own funds to support our many commnuity activities but at the moment we are still not their. I am hoping that local commnunity will get behind the work of BCT and help us to continue raising the aspirations of the young people in our area.”

Our own local giving page will be on line within the next and will give a full breakdown of all our projects and the difference your support can make to us.
