BCT Aspire’s Youth programme is starting to steadily gather momentum in large part thanks to the support and kindness of our very own local community.

Recently the group has received numerous charitable donations from local people and companies which have resulted in the purchase of new equipment for the children.

This has been especially noticeable with the drum lessons which run on a Thursday night. Our fantastic tutor Steve Oakden has worked hard without proper equipment for the last six months and this has finally paid off as we are now blessed to have to fantastic electric kits and drum pads for the beginners.

The kits were provided through donations, notably including Billingham Town Junior Football Club and local company SABIC.

Further to this donations were made from local individuals who undertake charity challenges of their own including:

  • Dylan Marsay – Ran Manchester Marathon
  • Amanda Adams – Took part in Redcar Big Sleepout (In January)
  • Billingham Town Juniors – Boxing Day Dip

Another special thank you go’s to Jonny Durnion & Shaun Murray who both helped to provide table tennis equipment for the group.

We are also very lucky to have enjoyed massive support from Stockton Borough Council through both Youth Direction & Tees Achieve based at Billingham Community Centre. This support has helped the group to continue to grow towards building a sustainable local youth project.

We are now running a diverse programme which we hope will grow with your continued support.
